Advanced Incident Management

All staff (casual and full time) should complete training on how to report an incident and a near miss.  Incidents are classified using criteria which allocate them as high/medium/low risk incidents.

There are a range of incident investigation methods used depending on the type of incidents that occur.  Actions taken following incidents are evaluated at 3 and 6 months after the incident date to assess if the corrective actions have fixed the issue that was raised in the incident.

There is a formal process for implementing lessons learnt from incidents and the lessons learnt are communicated to staff.
